Zug (Switzerland): Alpha Augmented Services AG (Alpha Augmented Services), an innovation leader in software-based transport optimisation, and global logistics provider Scan Global Logistics (SGL), have entered into a commercial partnership. Going forward, the international full-service logistics provider Scan Global Logistics A/S (SGL) will use the AI-supported software solution from Alpha Augmented Services and integrate it into its product range for both potential and existing customers.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) will strengthen its market position in Europe's largest logistics market, Germany, by adding the Top 50 ocean freight forwarder ETS Transport & Logistics GmbH (ETS) to the group. The partnership will add scale and commercial muscles to SGL's German organisation, especially within ocean freight. The combined organisation of more than 100 experienced logistics professionals will significantly strengthen the global freight forwarder's position in the German market.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire New Zealand Freight Forwarder Orbis Global Logistics Limited. On 5 October, Orbis will become the newest member of the SGL family.
