Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Alfa Laval announce the launch of their first electric Scania truck as part of their zero-emissions partnership. Deriving from a shared vision and commitment to creating a more sustainable logistics industry, the new truck will lead the way forward in reducing road transport CO2 emissions.

Danish golfer Amalie Leth-Nissen turned pro in 2023 after securing a place on the 2023 Ladies European Tour. Announcing her partnership with Scan Global Logistics, she becomes the fourth golfer sponsored by the fast-growing global transport and logistics provider, along with LPGA player Emily Kristine Pedersen and PGA profiles Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard.

BWB Partners and all other shareholders of international freight forwarder Scan Global Logistics today entered into an agreement to sell their shares to the well reputed private equity group, AEA Investors. Closing is expected to take place in July 2016, subject to approval by the competition authorities.

The change was planned during 2015 and solidifies the leadership of Scan Global Logistics. When Jesper Nielsen takes over as CEO, on February 1 2016, Henrik von Sydow, the outgoing CEO takes over the position as Chairman of the Board.

An extension of the A7 motorway started in Germany in 2014. The A7 is one of Germany’s busiest stretch of motorway and the part, which starts at the Danish border in South Jutland and goes all the way down to Elb Tunnel in Hamburg, is Denmark’s most important stretch when it comes to international trade.
